MODA Trustees Increase Motivation for Economic Development

Dear City Government,

Good News!!

The MODA Board has been in the process of implementing changes to better serve western Oklahoma in this ever changing economic environment. One of these changes was the revision of the grant policy (beginning July, 2013) adopted by the Trustees in December of 1996.

The purpose for the revision will be to better assist each city or town with promoting and strengthening your community when faced with economic development issues and concerns.

Below, you will find the revised grant policy, application and checklist, for 2013. Please read the material carefully, so that if you decide to apply for a grant, the application is filled out properly and completely.

Both the Board members and I hope that by making these changes, we can continue to fulfill the original intent of the MODA Trust, which is promoting economic & business development in and around the four counties of Washita, Custer, Beckham and Kiowa.

I would welcome the chance to come to your city or town and speak with you about MODA and how we may be able to offer assistance to your community.

I look forward to working with you on future projects, and am available to answer any questions you might have. Please do not hesitate to call me.

Sincerely,
Kathy Carlisle Executive Director
